“Here Is Better” Documentary Screening

We are honored to announce that DAV Department of Indiana will host a free screening of the award-winning documentary HERE. IS. BETTER. The New York Times describes the documentary as “about the slow, difficult work of reaching out, opening up and eventually finding a glimmer of hope, day by day.” HERE. IS. BETTER. follows the inspiring journeys of men and women Veterans as they undergo treatment for PTSD. We invite you to watch the trailer here to get a glimpse of this impactful film.

Join us in person on August 23, 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Indiana War Memorial & Museum, 55 E Michigan St, Indianapolis, IN 46204, to watch and discuss this important film. IDVA Director Dennis Wimer will be the Master of Ceremonies for the evening and will lead the discussion panel following the film.
