What chapters do
DAV (Disabled American Veterans) chapters are the local face of our organization in communities across Indiana. Chapter volunteers — many of them veterans themselves — help fellow veterans access their earned benefits, provide free transportation to VA medical appointments, organize community events, and advocate for legislation that protects the benefits veterans have earned. Every chapter is a place where veterans can find help, camaraderie, and a community that understands service.
